Karura forest torture reports uncover dark plot behind Ojwang’s death

Date:

New information has come to light about the death of Albert Ojwang, a high school teacher and father, whose passing in police custody has shocked the country. Ojwang was not just a teacher but also an active voice online who often spoke out about the challenges facing young people and criticized government policies.

His sudden and suspicious death has raised serious questions about what truly happened to him.

According to a report by The Star, Ojwang was not taken directly to Central Police Station after his arrest as earlier claimed by the authorities. Instead, sources say he was taken to Karura Forest, where he was tortured for several hours.

This was not a random act, but rather a planned and secret operation said to involve powerful individuals within the security system.

The forest, known to have been used before for hidden detentions, now appears to be a place where this kind of abuse is quietly carried out.

Ojwang had built a strong following on social media by openly talking about problems facing the youth and speaking his mind about government actions.

This honesty may have made him a threat in the eyes of some people in power. Those who knew him describe him as someone who deeply cared about young people and had no criminal background.

A colleague remembered him saying, “He was passionate about youth empowerment. That’s all he talked about how to help the next generation.”The timeline of events leading to his death is now under serious investigation.

It is believed that after being tortured in the forest, he was taken to Central Police Station while unconscious. Not long after, he was pronounced dead. Police officials first said he died from a head injury.

Later, others claimed he had fainted in the cell. These mixed stories have only added to the growing suspicion that the real cause of death is being covered up.

Civil society groups, human rights defenders, and the public are now calling for an independent investigation. Many say the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) should take over, and some believe international human rights observers should also be involved.

They want to make sure that the truth is found and that those responsible for Ojwang’s death face justice.

Albert Ojwang was more than a teacher he was a voice for change. His death cannot simply be ignored or explained away with confusing statements.
