Fearless Hon Wamuchomba breaks silence about people with murder cases in Kenyan Parliament

Date:

All Kenyan leaders should be required to charge their wealth against the state and openly declare their financial assets.

This means that any unexplained or suspicious wealth must be turned over to the government in addition to receiving a jail sentence for corrupt practices.

Leaders who serve the country diligently should have their wealth evaluated and released only after their term ends, ensuring accountability.

This approach could prevent the accumulation of dubious riches while in office and deter corrupt practices.

Honorable Wamuchomba has raised critical concerns about the character of some Members of Parliament in Kenya.

She has highlighted that some parliamentarians have ongoing murder cases, while others have been convicted of fraud, corruption, and other serious crimes.

Shockingly, these individuals are still in positions of power, shaping the country’s laws and policies.

Wamuchomba further suggested that voters share part of the blame for electing such leaders, choosing personal or tribal interests over integrity and competence.

The question remains: why are such personalities being protected?

Their presence in government raises doubts about the systems meant to uphold justice and accountability.

Instead of embracing calls for a clean, effective government, these leaders often criticize those advocating for reforms.

This behavior undermines public confidence and shows a lack of commitment to addressing the root causes of Kenya’s governance issues.

Some Kenyans have expressed frustration over the reliance on foreign assistance to solve domestic problems.

They argue that this mindset is reminiscent of colonial dependence and is unacceptable in 2025.

These citizens believe it is time for Kenya to create its own systems to combat poverty, nepotism, and corruption.

Relying on foreign nations to fix internal challenges perpetuates a cycle of dependency and weakens national pride and capability.

Only through collective action and a commitment to rooting out corruption can Kenya achieve meaningful change.

By rejecting dubious leaders and fostering accountability, the nation can create a more prosperous and equitable future for all.
