Gladys Wanga trails far behind Oyugi Magwanga in new Homa Bay poll by Mwelekeo Insights

Date:

A recent opinion poll on the race for governor in Homabay County has delivered a very clear message. The survey, conducted by Mwelekeo Insights, shows one candidate with a commanding lead based on the percentage of support from voters.

The results give us a view of what the electorate is currently thinking.

The Frontrunner’s Dominant Share

According to the final rankings from the Mwelekeo Insights poll, Oyugi Magwanga is the overwhelming favorite, securing 57.9% of the votes.

This is a massive share, putting him more than 28 percentage points ahead of his nearest rival.

Such a strong showing suggests that Mr. Magwanga has a powerful connection with the people of Homabay, and his message appears to be resonating with a large majority of those surveyed.

The Rest of the Field

The other candidates are trailing significantly behind. Gladys Wanga is in second place, but she only managed to attract 29% of the respondents’ support, a considerable gap from the leader.

Further back, Hesbon Omollo is in third place with a mere 7.9%, and Evans Kidero is in fourth with only 4.8%.

The poll also revealed that a tiny 0.4% of respondents said they were undecided.

This very small percentage suggests that the electorate in Homabay has largely made up its mind and knows who they will support, leaving very few people on the fence.

Understanding the Poll’s Integrity

The data from the Mwelekeo Insights survey offers more than just the percentages. The poll recorded that all votes cast were counted, with 0% rejected ballots.

This shows that the poll was well-organized and that participants clearly understood the process.

The turnout for the survey was listed as 100%. This suggests that the individuals selected to participate were fully engaged and willing to share their preference.

All these factors combine to make the results appear reliable.
