Molo MP Francis Kuria Kimani is under growing pressure after a Facebook post by Kihuria Wa Ndorongo revealed a disturbing situation tied to someone in his office.
The post brings to light claims that a man known as Muiru Wa Mbugua, said to be working as the MP’s personal assistant, deceived 36 people by promising them jobs under the Teachers Service Commission.
These actions are reported to have occurred between November 2024 and February 2025.

As per the details shared, Muiru is said to have asked 20 people for Ksh. 180,000 each with the promise of securing them positions as primary school teachers. This group is reported to have lost a total of Ksh. 3.6 million. Meanwhile, another 16 individuals who were reportedly told they would get secondary school teaching jobs paid Ksh. 275,000 each, totalling Ksh. 4.4 million.
Altogether, the amount collected adds up to roughly Ksh. 8 million, yet none of the hopeful job seekers have heard back regarding the offers.

What adds to the seriousness of the case is the manner in which it was done. According to Kihuria’s post, the individuals were taken to the 22nd floor of the KICC building, room 3, where they filled out forms resembling official TSC documents.
But it was later discovered that the forms were simply photocopies and held no official value. None of those who submitted their documents were ever hired.
The appearance of professionalism and the presence of someone believed to be part of the MP’s inner circle made the setup seem credible.

Reports also mention that the victims have proof of what transpired. This includes an OB number filed with authorities, a formal demand letter issued by a legal representative, and bank records showing the transactions.
This means the issue is backed by more than just verbal claims there’s real evidence available. Many are questioning how an individual so close to the MP was able to operate like this without anyone in the MP’s team noticing or intervening.

So far, Francis Kuria Kimani has not issued any response, and his silence is fuelling further concern.
Residents of Molo feel betrayed and upset. They placed their confidence in the MP’s office, only to be taken advantage of through someone linked to him.
Even if the MP wasn’t directly part of it, the connection to his personal assistant makes the matter impossible to ignore.

The victims are calling for answers and action, and they expect this case to be handled with seriousness and transparency.
