” Read the Bible ” Ruto tells critics of his Raila partnership

Date:

President William Ruto has said he is committed to bringing Kenyans together, and he will do it with the help of Raila Odinga. Speaking during a church service attended by several leaders, the President said unity is key if the country wants to progress. He made it clear that politics should not divide people anymore and that it is time to focus on what brings citizens together instead of what separates them.

According to him, joining hands with Raila Odinga and working together is not just a political move but a necessary step towards healing the country and pushing it forward. The President expressed his joy at the ongoing collaboration between his party and that of Raila.

He said that when leaders unite and put aside personal interests, then God will bless the nation. He urged Kenyans to support efforts aimed at reconciliation and peace. Ruto also said that uniting the country is something he will not apologize for, no matter the criticism. He believes that the only way Kenya can go far and achieve more is if leaders speak in one voice and citizens stop fighting each other over political differences.

The event was also attended by Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tutu, Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, and Narok Senator Ledama Olekina. Their presence showed that leaders from different regions and political sides are beginning to embrace the message of unity.

The service, which was held in a calm and peaceful atmosphere, was used not only for worship but also to send a message of hope and togetherness to all Kenyans.

Ruto’s statement comes at a time when the country has been experiencing political tension, especially after the last general elections. Many Kenyans have been feeling left out or ignored, especially those from areas that did not support the current administration. By bringing Raila into the national agenda and allowing him to play a key role in uniting the country, the President seems to be building bridges instead of walls.

Whether this partnership will last or not is yet to be seen, but the message sent out is clear Kenya must come before politics.

As things stand, the ball is now in the hands of both leaders and the citizens. What happens next will depend on how serious everyone is about peace, inclusivity, and national healing. The road might be long, but unity is the only path forward if Kenya wants to prosper.
