Nairobi man arrested carrying fresh human parts, claims victim was his wife

Date:

According to the report provided by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on their official social media handles, a 29-year-old man was arrested in Nairobi while ferrying fresh human body parts in a suspicious bag.

The suspect, identified as John Kiama Wambua, was intercepted by police officers on patrol around Kelly Towers in Huruma at approximately 5 a.m.

The officers, who had grown suspicious of Wambua’s behavior as he clung tightly to a heavy backpack, decided to conduct a search, leading to a shocking discovery.

Inside the bag, the police found parts of a mutilated human body, later identified as belonging to Wambua’s 19-year-old wife, Joy Fridah Munani.

Upon being questioned on the spot, Wambua admitted that the remains were indeed his wife’s.

He then led the officers to his house, where the investigation took an even darker turn.

The officers found more body parts hidden under the bed in his single-room house, which presented a gruesome scene with bloodstains covering the floor.

A sharp knife, believed to be the murder weapon, and blood-soaked clothing belonging to the victim were also recovered.

Despite the horrific nature of the discovery, it was noted that some body parts were still missing, prompting further inquiries into Wambua’s actions and possible motives.

Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) were called in to process the house and collect evidence.

Preliminary findings suggest that the knife recovered from the scene was likely used to dismember the victim.

The investigation now focuses on locating the missing body parts and uncovering the reason behind this chilling crime.

Wambua appeared calm throughout the arrest and initial questioning, raising concerns about his mental state or any underlying motives that could have led to the murder.

The suspect has since been detained and processed for arraignment to face murder charges.

Meanwhile, detectives are working tirelessly to piece together the events leading up to the crime.

The DCI has assured the public that they will leave no stone unturned in uncovering the truth and bringing justice for the young woman whose life was brutally cut short.

This case has left the local community in shock and sparked widespread calls for a thorough investigation to ensure such a heinous act does not recur.
