Mwelekeo Insights recently carried out a digital survey on the preferred candidate for Member of Parliament in Borabu Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The poll focused on local residents’ views and produced clear final rankings based on the votes collected.
In the results, Patrick Osero of the ODM party came out on top with 48.4 percent of the total. He was followed by Morara Kebaso of Jubilee, who received 35.5 percent.
The third place went to Eng. Peter Nyarige with 8 percent.
Jared Nyakundi took fourth position with 7.7 percent, while Gerald Orina received 0.3 percent.
Every ballot was counted as valid, and the reported turnout stood at 100 percent.
These figures give a simple picture of how support is currently spread among the names that appeared in the poll.
Osero’s lead of more than twelve percentage points over the second-placed candidate shows that a sizable share of those who voted chose him.
At the same time, Kebaso’s share remains substantial, suggesting that a good number of residents still look in his direction.
The remaining three candidates together collected less than one-sixth of the votes, which places them clearly behind the top two.
The numbers should be read as a view of opinion at the time the poll was taken rather than a full prediction of the eventual outcome.
Local issues, party activities, and changes in the political scene between now and 2027 can still shift the picture. Still, the ranking offers a useful starting point for anyone following the race in Borabu. It shows which names are drawing attention and how far apart the leading contenders currently stand.
