Mbarire’s UDA future in doubt after Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s remarks

Date:

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has hinted at a possible move to remove Cecily Mbarire, the current UDA (United Democratic Alliance) party member and Member of Parliament, from the party.

According to reports by Tuko News, Kindiki’s remarks have sparked a fresh wave of interest in the internal workings of UDA, with many questioning the future of one of its prominent members.

Kindiki, known for his outspoken nature on political issues, raised doubts about Mbarire’s loyalty to the party and its leadership.

In a charged moment, he remarked, “Aliwacha vijana wapigie Rais kelele,” which translates to, “She left the youth to make noise for the President.”

This comment suggested that Mbarire may no longer align with the core principles and objectives of UDA.

According to Tuko News, the remark came after a series of growing tensions within the ruling party, where some members have begun accusing Mbarire of actions that they believe are undermining the party’s unity and overall goals.

Cecily Mbarire, who hails from Embu County, has long been viewed as a loyal ally to President William Ruto and a powerful voice within UDA.

Her previous influence within the party was solidified by her outspoken support for the President and her active role in party activities.

However, recent events have led to suspicions about her commitment to the party’s agenda. Some party insiders have suggested that she has distanced herself from key party initiatives, including those aimed at supporting the President’s policies.

These actions have raised eyebrows and led to growing concerns within the party.

Sources within UDA, speaking to Tuko News, suggest that Kindiki’s comments may be a reflection of frustration within the party ranks.

Some members feel that Mbarire’s position within UDA is becoming increasingly uncertain, especially in light of her recent actions and statements.

As the deputy president and a key figure in the government, Kindiki is reportedly part of a faction that is determined to keep UDA united, particularly with upcoming political challenges on the region.

Though Kindiki stopped short of confirming plans to remove Mbarire from the party, his words have undoubtedly created a stir among political analysts.

The growing divide within the party suggests that Mbarire’s future in UDA could be in jeopardy, and the political landscape may change significantly if the rift continues to widen.

As of now, Mbarire has not publicly responded to Kindiki’s remarks. However, her supporters have quickly rallied around her, emphasizing her past contributions to the party and her continued commitment to serving her constituents.
