Mwelekeo Insights, a research firm known for its in-depth public opinion surveys, has released a new report assessing Kenyans’ confidence in President Ruto’s latest high-level appointees.

Beyond individual appointees, the report explored the broader political implications of these appointments. It highlighted regional shifts in support for the government, with some areas showing increased backing for President Ruto while others expressed dissatisfaction.

Certain appointments were seen as politically strategic, strengthening the government’s influence in specific regions, while others were met with skepticism due to previous controversies linked to those appointed.
The survey also measured the likelihood of the new appointees effectively addressing challenges in their respective dockets, with respondents split between optimism and doubt.
Mwelekeo Insights emphasized that its research was conducted with strict ethical standards, ensuring respondents participated voluntarily and that their identities remained anonymous. The firm aims to provide objective data that can inform policy decisions and public debate.
