Police in Naivasha have arrested one suspect and recovered 80 rolls of suspected cannabis sativa during an intelligence-led operation in Hope Well Estate, Naivasha Town.
The operation was carried out by officers from Naivasha Police Station after they received information from members of the public about suspected drug-related activities in the area.
Acting on the information, the officers moved to premises within the estate and conducted a search.
The search led to the recovery of 80 rolls of suspected cannabis sativa, which police believe were being kept at the premises. One person was arrested during the operation and taken to Naivasha Police Station, where he is being held as investigations continue.
The suspected narcotics have also been secured at the police station and will be used as exhibits as the case proceeds.
