Government insider Hashi has warned that Raila Odinga could face a serious challenge on Saturday if he does not address a key issue that may affect his chances of winning.
Speaking during an interview with Citizen Digital on Wednesday as reported by Tuko, Hashi pointed out that the ongoing crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a major factor that Raila must urgently deal with before the voting day.
He emphasized that without immediate intervention, the war in DRC could negatively impact Raila’s chances and lead to his downfall.
According to Hashi, the situation in DRC is worsening, with people being killed daily. He stressed that the instability in the region could push voters away from Raila, making it difficult for him to secure victory.

Hashi suggested that Raila should act fast by personally going to DRC and ensuring that peace is restored. He warned that failure to do so could mean a loss for the former prime minister, as no one would support him while the conflict remains unresolved.
“People are being killed in DRC every day, and this is what may return Raila back to the country. Nobody will vote for him when the war is still going on there, he should swiftly flee to the region and ensure there is peace there, or else he will be defeated,” Hashi said.
The crisis in DRC has been a long-standing issue, with various regional leaders and international bodies attempting to bring peace to the country.
Kenya has played a role in peace negotiations, but the situation remains volatile. Hashi’s remarks suggest that Raila’s political future is now tied to how well he handles this crisis. If he fails to address the issue, it could have a major impact on the outcome of the upcoming vote.
Hashi also revealed that the Kenyan government is fully behind Raila Odinga in his bid, and President William Ruto is hoping to see him secure the seat.
This statement raises questions about the level of political support Raila is receiving from the government and what role Kenya might play in influencing the process.
If Ruto is indeed backing Raila, it could mean that there are deeper political interests at play, with Kenya positioning itself strategically in the region.
The warning from Hashi puts Raila in a difficult position. With only a few days left before Saturday, he has limited time to act. If he decides to intervene in DRC, he must do so effectively and convincingly.
However, if he fails to take any action, the consequences could be dire for his campaign. The coming days will be crucial in determining whether Raila listens to the warning or ignores it at his own risk.
